Vascular Center
The Vascular Center offers vascular surgery guided diagnosing for peripheral artery disease (PAD). Patients can expect minimally invasive procedures that offer precision with little to no pain and faster recovery time.
Patient Focused
We strive to offer patients a comfortable, painless & minimally invasive procedure with outstanding results that prevent PAD from advancing to the point of limb amputations. It is also a fast recovery when compared to open surgery methods.
Advanced Technology
We offer Philips intravascular ultrasound imaging for advanced visualization for optimal treatments.
Referring Doctors
We value the trust provided by our friends in the medical community.

Vascular Screening
The vascular screening checks for signs of atherosclerosis, which is the buildup of fatty deposits in the arteries and PAD, which is a narrowing of the peripheral arteries. Patients can expect minimally invasive procedures that offer precision with little to no pain and faster recovery time. A screening of the vascular system can help prevent future heart attacks, strokes and impaired blood flow to the legs, arms and abdomen.
EKG
An electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) is a non-invasive test that checks for signs of heart disease.
How to Prepare
Do not use skin creams.
Women should not wear full-length hosiery.
Patients should wear clothing that can be easily removed.
What to Expect
Electrodes with adhesive pads are attached to the patient’s chest, arms, and legs. The patient lies flat while a computer graphs the electrical impulses of the heart. The process takes about 10 minutes.
Nuclear Stress Test
A nuclear stress test determines which parts of the heart are healthy and functioning normally, and which are not. A minuscule and harmless amount of radioactive substance is injected into the patient, producing clear pictures of the heart tissue. Using this technique, a less than normal amount of the substance will be seen in those areas of the heart that have a decreased blood supply.
Echocardiogram
An echocardiogram uses ultrasound to evaluate your heart muscle and valves.
Echocardiogram - Process
A cardiac sonographer places electrodes (small and sticky patches) on your chest to help monitor your heart’s electrical activity during the test. Sounds may or may not be heard and are part of the Doppler signal. At times you may have to hold your breath or change positions.
Echocardiogram - Uses
-
To assess the overall function of your heart.
-
To determine the presence of heart disease.
-
To follow the progress of heart valve disease over time.
-
To evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
EECP Therapy
Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) may stimulate small branches of blood vessels to create a natural bypass around narrowed or blocked arteries. This procedure is often used when patients have chronic stable angina, have exhausted other revascularization treatments or do not qualify for invasive procedures.
EECP - Process
The patient is connected to an electrocardiograph (ECG) machine and blood pressure monitors while cuffs are placed around the calves, thighs and buttocks. The cuffs attach to air hoses that connect to valves that will compress blood vessels in the lower limbs to increase blood flow to the heart. Each pressure wave is timed to the heartbeat so that the increased blood flow is delivered at the most precise moment when the heart is relaxed.
