About Dr. Silva
Dr. Silva is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. He is a highly experienced physician specializing in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, nuclear medicine, and vascular interpretation. His educational career and medical practice span over five decades. He brings a wealth of knowledge in both academia and practice. The clinic offers a wide range of cardiovascular services including cardiovascular disease prevention, routine to complex coronary disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, hypertension and cholesterol management, arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation, adult congenital heart disease, and pulmonary hypertension.
Dr. Silva has served the role of Vice-Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff at Valley Baptist Medical Center. A former hospital board member and Chief of Medicine at Valley Regional Medical Center, Dr. Silva continues to serve in various teaching and mentoring roles.
When Dr. Silva is not seeing patients during clinic or making his rounds at the hospitals, you can find him keeping physically fit, spending time with his family, or keeping current on his readings. Dr. Silva is a life-long learner.
